Kenbo

aka Kenbo. He received training in Chinese painting from an early age along with an education in southern Chinese ancestral hall traditions, integrating Eastern symbolic elements in ink on rice paper with Zen philosophy to form a distinctive artistic language of his own. His creative practice spans design, experimental ink art, installation, video, and sound art. He is also fascinated by Chinese classical literature and character studies. His works are held in collections including the Dortmund Opera House, museums at ancient Roman sites in the Rhineland and the Bavaria region in Germany, as well as the headquarters of the German industrial group Meffert AG (Düfa). In June 2026, he will present a solo exhibition at TRAFO Trafostacja Sztuki in Szczecin, Poland.
