Chen Zhize

born in Beijing, China, the artist graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Fine Arts College of Capital Normal University and the School of Experimental Art at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, they teach at the High School Affiliated to the Central Academy of Arts & Design.

Their practice is active in both contemporary art and pop culture–influenced art. They have participated in numerous major exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai, Portugal, and beyond, including venues and platforms such as the Oriental Museum, the China National Convention Center, Shanshui Art Museum, Times Art Museum, and ART GO GO. Their work continuously explores the fusion of experimental art and popular culture.
