Yi Wan

born in Hunan, China, the artist graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Fine Arts College at Capital Normal University, specializing in Modern Oil Painting Creation and Pedagogy.

Their practice centers on individual experience, using painting to express emotions and inner reflections rooted in everyday life. Through imagined spaces, the artist engages in processes of self-examination and reconstruction.

Their works have been exhibited at institutions and platforms such as the National Art Museum of China, Himalayas Museum, Shanshui Art Museum, and key venues within Beijing’s 798 Art District, as well as ARTGOGO. They have also participated in numerous contemporary art projects across China, continuously exploring the relationship between personal narrative and the contemporary context.
