My work is not only expressing the feelings of myself but also includes the real life and mental states that appear to most people. The power of quiet, passion and repression after the release of oppression was crystallized in my works. I believe they can passMy temperature to others.
The "Landscape on Linen" series represents a contemplation, exploration, and practice of the traditional means of artistic expression. Using the needle as a brush, the artist scrapes the warp and weft texture of traditional Western linen canvas into a velvet-like texture, thereby reshaping traditional Chinese landscape painting. Linen has long been regarded as the "servant" of oil painting—this series brings the canvas to the forefront, allowing the material itself to become the "protagonist" of expression. By altering the material properties of the canvas, a new fusion between traditional Chinese landscape painting and Western linen is achieved, opening up new possibilities within the two-dimensional space.
